How many people am I sharing the suite with?
Your room is completely private but your common spaces are shared with 2-4 other Roostrs, depending on the property. These areas include: living room, dining room, kitchen, and other community spaces.
How many bathrooms are there in the suite? Will I have to share?
While some bedrooms have full ensuites, most rooms will have a shared full bathroom between every two rooms.
That said, thanks to our weekly cleaning team, no matter how messy you or your bathroom buddy is, you’ll never have to fight over who’s turn it is to scrub the toilet.
What can I expect in the suite?
Your new home is purposefully designed to help you and your fellow Roostrs enjoy your lives together to the fullest – whether eating, playing, or working.
Sectioned into living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, and others, the entire suite is equipped with quality furniture, smart lock, smart TV, modern appliances (washer/dryer/dishwasher are all a given), efficient heating and cooling, and all essential supplies. You’ll also have access to all available building amenities.
Doggos, kitties, or other pets?
Unfortunately, unless you’re asking about your certified service animal, we currently can’t accommodate any pets due to potential allergies and safety concerns.
We're a couple, are we welcome?
Absolutely – we’ll be sure to lay out two towels! However, to ensure everyone gets the bathroom ratio they deserve, we only accommodate couples in ensuite rooms.
Note that a $150 flat-fee upcharge will also apply to your all-inclusive rent to cover additional utilities and services.
What's the the application process like?
You’re already here! Simply fill out the application form on our site and book a call with one of our Community Managers. If everyone’s happy, we’ll take you on a tour, in-person or virtually – whichever is best for you. After your visit, you can decide whether or not to reserve the room and we’ll conduct a background check. If everything looks good, we’ll get the lease signed and get you ready for move-in.
What does move-in look like?
Your Roost Community Manager will welcome you at the door and help bring your bags inside. After you take your shoes off and drop your stuff off in your room, they’ll give you the suite tour. They’ll introduce you to anyone who’s home and ensure you have everything you need to get comfortable. They’ll then set you up on the Roost Community Slack and let you get settled in.
In your room, your comfy double bed is freshly made with pillow fluffed and a new towel waiting for you (just bring bring your own duvet/ comforter/ quilt/ whatever you like to use). The hangers in the closet are ready to help you straighten up and the laundry basket is ready for new loads. The walls offer some shelving along with some plants and/or art.
In the Standard and Ensuite Rooms, your desk and chair are waiting for you to settle in for work and chills. In the Cozy Room, your night stand is ready for stocking.
